Our Mission
At Driven by Grace, we demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ to marginalized and underserved communities by sharing with them the Good News, providing for physical needs, and planting seeds of hope.
2 Corinthians 5 : 14 – 15 NIV
“For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died.
And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.”
Care Bags for the Unhoused
Care Bags for the Unhoused (CBU) is our monthly ministry, where we bless 80 to 120 unhoused individuals every last Saturday of the month. Since 2022, we have faithfully linked arms with our CBC small group, Grace Moves, and the Evangelocos Doc Ministry (2 Cor 5:13-14) who attend Bethel church. Together, we provide food and hygiene supplies and allow them to “shop” for the items they want and need. We place all the donated items they select in a drawstring bag containing a Gospel Tract.
CBU started as an offshoot of our family preparing brisket sandwiches for the unhoused in 2021. Three years later, CBU now provides the unhoused with over a thousand care bags each year filled with towels, socks, soap, lip balm, and other hygienic supplies.
James 2:16 NIV
“If one of you says to them, ‘Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,’ but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?”
Seeds of Hope
Seeds of Hope is our ministry to support children of low-income families. As current and former educators of low-income schools, we understand the impact of poverty is far-reaching- affecting the mental and physical well-being of parents, children, and teachers. At Driven by Grace, our support for children of low-income families comes in a variety of ways, such as
- Back to School Giveaway
- Revitalizing Teacher Morale with Pizza Parties
- Funding Young Ladies Organization Events:
- Dinner Etiquette Lessons
- Field Trips
- Community Service Projects
- Christmas Gifts for Child Migrants
Hebrews 13:16 NIV
“And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.”
