We enjoyed serving 64 unhoused and low-income families this past Saturday. That number is likely lower than in previous months because we were not there in February due to the icy roads, and we moved to a new location next to the jail.
At our new location, we had armed correction officers supervising inmates cutting grass behind us, a blaring train to the left of us, grateful unhoused and low-income families in front of us, and God’s presence all around us.
Our previous location was enclosed with fencing and locked by the city, so we are grateful we still had a place to serve.
