Through your prayers and provision, we are ending 2024 by blessing our community with:
Care Bags for the Unhoused (CBU):
- 22 Christmas gifts given to the children, parents, and grandparents we see at CBU
- 30 new pairs of shoes handed to those without any or had shoes in poor condition
- 50 free VIA bus rides to those in need
- 1,290 care bags distributed to unhoused individuals and low-income families
Seeds of Hope:
- 2 gift baskets donated for Adam’s Hill’s silent auction to promote literacy
- 10 Young Ladies Organization (YLO) students:
- Educated in proper dinner etiquette
- Dined at J. Alexander’s
- Treated to Carlo’s Bakery
- Received a “Be the Change You Want to See” bracelets
- 11 roses given to YLO Inductees
- 13 “It’s Good For A Girl to Know Who She Is” books purchased for YLO students
- 16 pizzas delivered to the teachers at Douglas Elementary School
- 30+ teachers blessed with lunch at Adam’s Hill Elementary School
- 35 teachers treated to hot cocoa and cookies
- 84 Adam’s Hill Elementary School students received free school supplies
