Every year, we are blessed to work with an incredible group of young ladies—and this year is no exception! It brought us great joy to serve alongside the talented, kind, and thoughtful leaders of our Young Ladies Organization (YLO) last week. Watching our members work together to provide hot cocoa and sweets to the hardworking teachers at Adams Hill Elementary School truly warmed our hearts. We served more than 40 teachers and staff, offering each their choice of beverage and snack.
Our first-year YLO members managed order fulfillment, while our YLO officers—now in their second year of service—rotated through the following roles:
- Whipped Cream Specialist (their favorite): Topping each cup of hot cocoa with whipped cream
- Quality Assurance: Ensuring every order matched its ticket
- YLO Door Dash: Escorting the young ladies as they delivered treats directly to teachers in their classrooms
After serving the teachers and administrators, the young ladies enjoyed a well‑earned treat of their own, complete with hot cocoa and some very creative toppings.
Thanks to your prayers and donations, Driven by Grace is able to fully fund these events that plant Seeds of Hope throughout the communities of San Antonio.
