Saturday recap: we had the privilege of serving 89 members of the Market Square community.

Five of them were walking on bare feet or in socks. If you’ve been under the bridge, you know the gravel that comes down off the highway and collects on the ground — that’s what they were stepping through with nothing on their feet.

We were grateful to be able to put a new pair of shoes in each of their hands. Shoes are an easy thing to take for granted until you watch someone step carefully across gravel without them.

Thank you to every volunteer, partner, and supporter who shows up and makes these Saturdays possible. Please keep our fellow San Antonians in your prayers.
