Last Tuesday, our Young Ladies Organization members at Adam’s Hill Elementary participated in a hands on lesson in proper dinner etiquette. They learned the difference between a salad fork and a dinner fork, how to signal to wait staff that they have finished their meal, and what topics are appropriate for dinner conversation.

After the lesson, the girls put their new skills into practice with a three course meal. They practiced ordering from a menu and enjoyed brisket from Bill Miller’s as the main course, served with a required side of green beans — because vegetables matter. They also selected their own beverages, salads, sides, and desserts.

A heartfelt thank you goes to the Adam’s Hill staff who graciously volunteered as servers for the evening. Their support made this experience both memorable and meaningful for our young ladies.
