This past Saturday, we had the privilege of serving 72 members of the Market Square community.
One interaction in particular was especially meaningful. We were able to provide a bus pass to a veteran in need.
The last time I saw him was about two years ago, and at that time, all he was asking for was a bus pass. That encounter left such an impression on us that it helped inspire our decision to begin regularly distributing free bus passes through CBU. While I wish the circumstances were different, it was a blessing to reconnect with him and be able to help meet his need once again.
Thank you to our volunteers, partners, and supporters who faithfully serve month after month. Please continue praying for our unhoused neighbors and low-income families throughout San Antonio, that they would experience hope, provision, and the love of Christ.
